A new small business, Flora Botanicals is on a mission to create premium quality soaps that harness the rejuvenating qualities of nature. Unable to find a beautiful product that didn’t irritate their skin, the founder of Flora was inspired to develop cleansing and nourishing soaps that promote a luxurious experience without using harsh chemicals, dyes and fragrances. To meet this standard, organic, fair trade oils were sourced and infused with healing aromatic herbs such as lavender, chamomile and calendula. Flora uses plants and therapeutic clays to color, and premium quality essential oils and essences to scent each soap. Flora Botanically infused soaps are clean, natural, nourishing, healing, soothing, wonderfully scented and a sustainable, eco friendly choice.
With no brand identity, Flora Botanicals needed a creative direction and design implementation that reflected its premium, natural and sustainable product. The mood board above showcases the logo, typography, color palette and images that were intentionally selected to represent this luxurious and earthy brand. Colors of moss green and terracotta pink provide warmth, contrast and complement botanical elements as well as the clay ingredients.
The brand identity package was applied to Flora’s website homepage. It was designed to be sleek and earthy with a high priority given to the user experience and ease of navigation. This was achieved by including a search bar and a side bar to filter products. As well as menu options for different categories and product types.
